Men's Fellowship
There is a new spiritual awakening taking place today among men. Men are realizing that God is calling them to be the spiritual leaders of their homes as they submit to the head leadership of Christ. Jesus was the ultimate example of how a man should live his life. It is our desire to emulate His example by being men of integrity, morality, and servanthood.
God expects us to be men of prayer, consistency, and honor by growing daily in the Word, and by offering prayer, praise, and worship to the one we in whom we serve. In addition, we are striving to be God-fearing men who have made Christ not only Savior of our hearts, but Lord of our lives. Our men are striving to make a difference in the lives of all who we touch. And, have determined that success in this life is based on how we respond to Christ, rather than the standards of men (academia, wealth, and social status).
Our Men's Fellowship seeks to accomplish the following:
- Mobilizing men for work in the church by emphasizing that "everyone is a minister" and, therefore, a witness for Jesus Christ.
- Enable men to experience spiritual renewal through group Bible study, fellowship, and prayer.
- Provide men a sense of belonging through organized Christian Fellowship with other men in the church and providing a network and support chain to help men maintain their commitment to their families in addition to the church family.
- Encourage men to be better husbands, fathers, providers, and spiritual leaders as priests in the home through discipleship, mentoring others, and living the "life" according to God's holy word.
- Organize prayer support for the pastor and vital ministries of the church.
- Equip and train men for ministry by helping them discover and use their spiritual gifts.
